Refunds and cancellation
Last updated October 30, 2026
In short: try EasyChart free for 30 days with no card. Cancel any time from inside EasyChart. Service runs to the end of the period you paid for, and we don't refund partial months or years. Charges made in error are always refunded.
Free trial
Every new practice gets a 30-day free trial with every feature. We don't ask for a card to start, and nothing is charged during the trial. To keep using EasyChart after the trial, an admin chooses the monthly or annual plan in Account → Subscription.
If you don't choose a plan, you can still sign in for 90 days after the trial ends to download your practice's records.
Cancelling
- An admin can cancel at any time in Account → Subscription, by turning off auto-renew or clicking Cancel subscription.
- After you cancel, you won't be charged again. Everyone at the practice keeps full access until the end of the month or year you already paid for.
- You can change your mind and turn auto-renew back on any time before that date.
- When the paid period ends, you can still sign in for 90 days to download your practice's records. After that, the account closes.
Refunds
- Partial periods: we don't refund or credit the unused part of a month or year after you cancel. Your access continues until the end of that period instead.
- Charges made in error (for example, a duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled): tell us within 60 days at support@easychart.health and we'll refund it in full to the card that was charged.
Changing plans and users
- Monthly to annual: the annual plan starts right away. You're charged for the year, less a credit for the unused part of your current month.
- Annual to monthly: the unused part of your year becomes a credit on your account and pays your monthly charges until it runs out. It isn't refunded to your card.
- Adding or removing clinicians: your next charge goes up or down, adjusted for the days used. Billing staff are always free.
How we charge
Subscriptions are charged in advance, in US dollars, by our payment processor, Stripe. Receipts are emailed after every charge, and past receipts are in Account → Subscription → Billing history.
